Our Mission:

Evenfield Entertainment finances, produces, and commercializes global content made by women. It has already been proved that when stories told about a group, are also made by that group, audiences are more likely to buy in – Black Panther proved this thesis with a budget of $200M it grossed $1.3B worldwide.

Stories matter and perspective matters.

Evenfield Entertainment makes fiscally responsible cinema in the independent space, with a focus on visionary filmmakers

The Opportunity:

Content is Queen! Big tech is backing into content creation (IP) and creating OTT streaming services. Streamers are spending a combined $100B on original content in 2021. They have realized this is integral to attracting customers to their brand. They are looking for niche content. Women are the largest ‘niche’ group at 51% of the population, they also control 82% of consumer purchasing power.

The Current Culture in Film:

The stories being told in popular culture are not aligned with who are consuming media. Only 15% of movie writers and, just 16% of movie directors are women. This has overwhelming consequences for culture and every industry. If you can see it, you can be it.

More importantly, men control almost all entertainment industry financing and even though the data tells us female led films outperform male films across all budget levels they continue to predominantly finance male led films.

Our Strategy:

Evenfield identifies untold stories by women.

We have built a consumer base and access to distribution that is hungry for niche content. We have a slate that is diversified (just like a stock portfolio) by age, race, ethnicity and genre.

We are now working on our first four films and have identified many more that are ready to produce.

We have a transformation strategy and are actively looking for supporters, investors, and partners.

This is just good business!
